Well made, functional tools are a joy to use and
the backbone of every shop. The materials for our tools are carefully chosen for quality and matched to the design of the tool. Only high grade hardwood veneer plywoods and solid hardwoods, most of them grown and milled right here in the Adirondack Mountains and neighboring Vermont, are used.
Finishing Press Hard maple. Approximately
5-3/4" inches high. 14 inches between screws. Cheeks are 1-5/8" thick.
The screws and handles are hand turned and threaded from a solid
piece of maple. A wood dowel locks the handles to the front cheek
so the cheek travels with the screw as it turns. Screws are 1-1/8" in
diameter at 4-1/2 threads per inch.
